In his decades-long love affair with man’s best friend, Anthony has rescued, rehabilitated, trained, and lived with labs, greyhounds, spaniels, huskies, dachschunds, beagles, poodles, pits, mutts of all shapes and sizes, and even a ¾ wolf mix. His own retired racers are certified as therapy dogs by The Good Dog Foundation, and Anthony regularly volunteers with them at retirement homes and Veterans Hospitals.
Anthony works with individuals and animal organizations in the greater New York area. In addition to group obedience classes and leash-walking seminars at Cheeky Dog, Anthony offers private behavior consults and in-home training sessions.
